I know it's only for standard trannys (not cvt) which I believe is in all 2007 Yaris.

Has anyone actually done this? Im about to vaccuum pump out the tranny (just completed the engine oil today) and wanted to see if anyone says to run like hell from this idea or if they've actually done it and recommend it.

There's slight transmission slip during the first 5min the car is driving then it's ok. Was wondering if this would help since I'm changing the trans oil.

Thanks

I wouldn't put anything in an auto trans that isn't the correct fluid. You'll make it worse.

a bandaid on an auto is always a bandaid.....more often than not you either kill it faster or slow its death...never have i seen anything "help"

Assuming it's an automatic transmission, and it's slipping when not warmed up, it's possible it just needs a fluid flush and new fluid.

Observe the condition of the old fluid.
If it smells burnt or is a brownish color, that's your main problem.
