Hiiy Folks,

A happy Yaris owner here.
I have a TOYOTA Yaris II Hatchback (XP9) (01.2005-12.2014).

Recently two times in a year I had this situation.
Normally I close trunk door with average force
And sometimes it doesn't close completely and
A small light was ON all the time.
Two times my battery was drained due to that
And I then my friend need to come to aid.

My question is I really don't use that light and I
Don't want to worry about this battery drain matter in future.
Can I just remove the bulb from holder and be tention free.
Or should I do anything after removing the bulb.
Or any suggestions.

Thanks in advance.

if your looking for a blanking plate, the hatchbacks have a blank plate on the center of the hatch that just so happens to be the EXACT size of the light unit...in other words you can use that plate to blank your light or you can do some work and put a light where the blank plate is.....seems to be a common part across the scion line too
