Major issues on the way to work, please advise

So I started up my 2008 yaris to drive to work as normal. I notice the engine was running like crap. Traction control light was on driving felt like the transmission was slipping. I'd give it gas and it didn't wanna go. I nursed it back home. I have no idea were to start.. any ideas?

electrical symptoms at the same time as engine performance problem leads me to believe electrical powers and grounds. Check sensor and computer grounds and powers with a small load like a test light and verify everything is happy. Highly unlikely the traction control and rough running came on at the same time while not coming from the same source.

TCS light kicks on and engine acting up...sounds like it kicked into "limp in mode"

time to scan the obd and find out whats up
