So... I am local to San Jose, South Bay.
So... does anyone here knows about Milpitas Square Friday Night Gathering(HWY237/880 Ranch99 Market)?

For past 2 years, I have been going there to meet up local car peeps. The place is a gather point of local S2K and 350G/Z groups, and more and more cars are rolling in now. Lately, I guestimated car counts is getting about 150 cars range. NXS, Bimmers, Subies, Lancers, Lexus, and cops are all there.

It will be nice if we can meet up and join local car group community.

Car peeps start rolling in around 930p and spaces are getting peek out around 1100p, and by 100am the lot is back to empty. Cops are usually around but doing nothing to us. Yup, most of us have no front plates, and most cars here are modded.... :bellyroll:

So... anyone wants to meet up?

No I never heard of it but I have seen many cars in that area when i was with my friends at Bubble.

What time? I have stock Yaris, got it about a week ago.

I hate the cops, they hella mugged me and my friends while we were walking in and out of the shops..
I'm free after 10~ish because of movie..
Let me know for future meets, I live like 10 miles away~

Don't worry about cops. They don't bother us. No one speeding, no one race... just friendly gathering.

Yes, we are there. Every Friday night... I am not sure about a rainning night, but even when it gets around 32F, we are there. Let me know if you want to meet up. I work on Saturdays, and I value my family time on weekends, so it is hard for me to be there every Friday. There is a 50% chance of time I will be there every Friday night (maybe not with the Yaris).

I'd be down to roll out there one night. It would be a lil bit of a drive but not like i use that much gas lol. My car's stock anyways it'd be cool to see whats out there though.

We could bring ours down there, too, and have the Jelly Bean line up. We have a new baby, so it's tough to get out. Anyhow, I have done wheels, suspension, intake to 2 cars, and we are doing ZPI Tubo kits in a week or two if any of you want to freak out with your geek out. We can do some before and after runs.

Yea that'd be nice Vanderkitten. My first major upgrade would be an intake but I'm not sure how much hp I can benefit from the TRD one....and the fact that I will be killing my warranty real quick =P

So seeing a demo of a Yaris w/ a nice intake would help boost my motivationin getting one.

Those people there are really friendly. More modds on the car, the owner is more friend. Just peek around and ask what they done to their car, and they will spend hours want to tell you about their baby. :tongue: You will make new friends there in no time! And of course we gang up too! :headbang:

Yea 880 and any other busy freeway is crap. Our tax money goes overseas instead of on our roads.....the best they did in my area is patch up the holes. Messes up my new car's suspension :(

We can all either make a list or exchange numbers through PM to make an official meeting date at Milpitas Square....?

What are you doing to your Yaris anyway Joseph?

Those pics? That was the HID and foglamp kit from fleabay.
The fog kit needs custom wiring; it is not as easy to install that control switch and the installation is pretty much useless. The HID is pretty ez but also needs to bumper off for installation.

Some JDM accessories came in today. Including taillights, antenna, badges…. I don't know if I have time to put it on by this Friday...

(Seats, 4-2-1 Header and custom race exhaust... now I need the turbo because I have too much flow going out, and not enough coming in!!!!)

Lend it to me ^_^. I'm on summer vacation and no trip to Japan this year for me....I've got nothin but dedication in the palm of my hands.

yep. There was only two Yaris there, mine and Josephs' but yea.....there are a ton of cars there to see man. And from what I've been told, there are usually more than what I saw last Friday night.....and to me that was quite a a hand full ^_^.

Here are a few pics from the Meet yesterday, got to meet JosephDoc and Kioshi, the entire group of people were great, i did not take pics of the other vehicles, but i should have (probably would have ran out of memory on my digi cam, a lot of vehicles do come out), i think i am going out there on a regular basis, definitely the yaris are a hit with the crowd. My cousin and his son loved it and he got to meet up with bunch of mazdaspeed3 owners. This is definitely a place to see some great vehicles and meet some great people. :headbang:

Yeah joseph is a hit out there, but yeah, we do get a lot of attention, even though there is some awesome cars out there the S2000 are nice and 350's were cool, but i liked the miata's that came in just before i took off. we might be out there this friday also.

There were at least 150 cars last weekend and the pk lot was packed with cars and peeps. One cop came and kicked all of us out... hahaha. Me and friends were showing our drink cups to prove we were doing business so the cop did not bother us. :bellyroll:

what other shops are in the milpitas square? i was in miLpitas last friday chillin wid my friends at quickly around 1030-1130..

There's a Jewelry store, Ranch 99, Great Mall, and stuff. Yep, every Friday theres a car meet, same time, same location. Yea get Kaotic to come. And then tell his buddy yrsdrgn to come too ^_^.

Oh, by the way, I'm a no show tonight......work 5:30-11pm >_< By the time I make it there, everyone might be kicked out haha.

Hold up. This is in the Great Mall? O_o I'm very confused because I've been looking for the address of the whole thing and searching up Milpitas Square on mapquest and it gives me lots of results lol. I hope to try and make it to one of the upcoming meets (hopefully drag a friend along to read the mapquest to me lol)

Hey Yrsdrgn...two ways~ take 280 S and then merge onto 101 S...then take dumbarton exit. Pass the toll bridge and some miles and then merge onto 880 S. Take Greatmall parkway and once at the top of the ramp, make a right. Go down the bridge and make another right at the first stop light once you come down. Go straight and once you see Chevron gas station, make a right and go straight and you'll see Ranch 99.

Im not sure how to get onto 880 S from S.F. I think take 80 W i believe, yeah~

Anyway come by Aug 31st.

Man I wish i could've made it to a lot of these Norcal/mid Norcal meets a long time ago lol. But this Friday is actually my sister's b-day =P so I'll be missing out on that one.....I'm aiming for september or october due to school (as for work I can just request it off LOL)

BTW!!! On weekend nights, don't get near that parking lot if your car is too aggressive. 2 weeks ago, 20+ cars got tickets (exhaust, window tints, front plate, lowering, under hood mods...).

I know.. cops could not find any doughnut store there so they made the moves. Sigh~~ just let it chill a bit.

hey what time does everyone start showing up?? i work till about 8ish on fridays and live out in dublin. So i could be out there by like 930 or so. I've got a Blue LB i bought back on 8-11-07 so it's pretty new still
