I was running a scan on my 2011 yaris and I noticed a C1554 code.
Never saw a maintenance light or had any other indications.
Looking up the code shows a power steering supply or relay fault.
I cleared the code and haven't had any problems since and passed inspection without problem.
Anyone else seen this before or am I just "lucky"?
According to the internet, it might require replacing the ECU for the power steering which seems like a bit of a chore. If power was removed via fuse or relay, would it still throw a code?
(looking for options just in case)
