Remote keyless entry Yaris 2008

Hello yaris friends,
I am trying to figure out how can I add keyless entry to my little Yaris.
After searching the web I understood that there must be a receiver underneath the armrest.
I searched the car but there wasnt, but there exists an empty cable that fits a receiver (searched and found that this is the part : 89741-0D030)
My question is, if I plug this receiver, will be possible for a locksmith to make a workable remote control?
My Vin is VNKKL923X0A285593.
