2007 both front wheels don't seem to be pulling

Only the right front wheel seems to be receiving power.
She was stuck on ice and only the right front was spinning. Even with rocking and after she was moving, she only had one wheel spinning.
I've never seen that before except on an old one wheel drive gocart.

Any thoughts?

All 2 wheel drive vehicles without a limited slip differential put power to one wheel only.

Thanks. We've had a lot of different vehicles over the years. I can't believe I never ran into this before.
