My car is making a funny noise that you can only hear when i accelerate to 60 mph to 65 mph. It seems to make less noise when i go up to 70 mph and below 55 mph i don't hear it. I sounds like a thumping vibration. has anyone had this issue before ? or have any opinions on what it could be. Thanks guys. My car is a 2009 with 340k miles original water pump by the way.

I bet its some kind of splash shield that's shuddering with air pressure.

I get the same thing. It occurs at a specific wind speed of 80mph. When I'm going 60 with a 20mph wind same noise.
Some plastic panel on the right side broke loose and I need to get a fastener replaced or just use a zip tie.

I hope you're right. i might have to strap my camera phone under there and then see what's moving with that noise. ya'll don't think it's the tranny or the CV axles? Last year i replaced the tranny and also replaced axles with after market ones. i can't afford the high dollar genuine toyota axles.
