1ZZ Throttle Body Upgrade

I just got the 1ZZ throttle body from a 2005 Corolla. Part# 22030 - 0D030

It takes 4 bolts and has 2 angled hose hookups.

Do I need to swap over the black plastic rivet part of my stock throttle body onto the 1ZZ?

I have a 2008 Yaris hatchback 1.5L manual.

You don't HAVE to but some users have reported drivability issues when doing this mod that is usually fixed by swapping boards. YMMV.

You will need to swap the black pastic board riveted on yes, otherwise it will throw error codes and ether not drive at all or put you in limp mode. Its an easy swap drill out rivets and swap then bolt or revite back together. You will also need to adjust the idle with the little hex screw hidden under the yellow glue.
