Hello Everyone,
I have a Vitz 2013 with a 1kr-fe engine.
There was a small hole in the throttle body butterfly, which was then filled with glue; according to the mechanic, this gives extra air, which is not the standard way. That alteration was before I purchased it.
After purchasing it, I went to tune it. I changed the spark plugs, fuel Pump(50psi) and filter, CVT oil(Toyota cvtf-fe) and filter, engine oil and filter, and air filter.
I checked the ECU on the software, and no error was found. The mechanic did all calibrations, especially oil pressure for the CVT.
My car started jerking or misfiring at a low speed. When I pressed the gas pedal slightly, the car jerked, and it continued until it reached a maximum speed of 50 km.
When I press the gas harder there is no missing.
When I leave the peddle and push break, I again feel a minor jerk, which is negligible.
I checked it in all gear D,B, and S.
The ignition coils are in good condition. The fuel average is above 13 in the city, which is fine. The car runs well, with no engine codes or mechanical work—just the jerks.
