Hi guys new here joined after thinking my drivers side headlight bulb had failed yesterday i bought a new bulb turns out it is more of a problem than i first thought.

i read a previous post before posting i have tried all fuses and tested with a multimeter all fine. i have tried new bulbs and tested them also with multimeter.

Connection box is full of gunk and grease so will clean tomorrow and report back but i have just noticed that the full beam works so this must mean the connection is fine ?. i am now running out of options please help. thank you

Have you tried swapping bulbs from side to side to see if a known fully functioning bulb exhibits the same behaviours in its new location?

Due to design, many owners remove the boot protecting the back of the headlight assembly, since the boot deteriorates and sticks to all parts.

That is likely why the connector is coated in vasiline to protect it from moisture in stead of the boot
