Hi guys and gals, first post here, I just discovered this forum!

So, I own a 2006 Yaris 1.3 (automatic, petrol, Greece).

I am interested in buying an OBD2 screen or projector in order to monitor the coolant temp and several other information.

I know that it has an OBD port but the question is does it really support OBD2 to work with these gizmos (from Aliexpress, Temu etc) or I'd better forget about it?

Thank you so much in advance!

Nick

I use the ANCEL TD700 reader and it works great for Toyotas.

I also have one of these if you want to have something plugged in continuous while you drive. Works very well.

Thanks for the reply!

I was thinking to buy one of these actually (just a few examples):

...that's why I was wondering if they will work with my old but trustful Yaris...

Truth to be told, I don't need a speed gauge as I already have two GPS speed projectors (one for me, and one for my dashcam, lol) so I am pretty covered.

But I do need to be able to check on the fly some other info as well, especially the coolant temp.
