Hello,
I wanted to give my 13-year update on my 2012 Yaris L (stick). The car has 202,000 miles and was purchased new by me. The car gets around 33mpg these days doing a 75 mile daily commute @ 80
Here is what I have replaced:
• Brakes twice
• Left and right Headlight bulbs twice
• Exhaust
• Alternator
• Serpentine Belt
• 1 injection coil
• 4 spark plugs
• Camshaft position sensor
• Variable valve timing solenoid
• Coolant flush
• transmission oil change twice
Mods:
TRD rear sway bar
Interior: the seats are worn out, and the driver crank window take some force now. The rear trunk floor broke. No dash rattles
Exterior:
I live in Wisconsin, so the car is rusty. Rockers have rust, hatch has rust. The chrome trim piece on the hatch is where it started. I have also worn out the key.
I would buy a new one again if they were available. I test drove the corolla, didn't really like it as much so I'm sticking with the Yaris for now.
