Clutch or Transmission Problem

I was a nightmare last night to move a car from a complete stop with 3rd gear. It doesn't matter if I shift to 1st or 5th gear, it will snap in 3rd gear. Same for 2nd and Reverse, it will get in 4th gear. Is it clutch or Transmission Problem?

That wouldn't have anything to do with the clutch.

Just a guess here, but there a plastic body that the shift lever attaches to underneath the rubber boot that the lever goes through. You can pull that boot up easily(just grab it at the bottom where it attached to the plastic cover and ease it up along the edges) then you can see in there. Once you look in there, I think you'll find a broken piece of plastic on the left side.

Sounds to me like your shift mechanism which I believe is by cable is not aligned correctly.
