Reverse gear scratches on Yaris SCP90 with 2SZ-FE engine

Good morning everyone, I have a problem with my 2007 Toyota Yaris with 1.3 engine (87 HP). In practice, when I press the clutch and engage reverse gear, sometimes (especially with a hot engine) the gearbox squeals. To minimize the phenomenon I have to press the clutch twice or first engage fourth gear and then reverse.

The car has 122,000 km, I bought it recently, and the clutch does not tear or slip, but I noticed that it attacks very low. Furthermore, when I press or release the clutch lever (both with the engine off and on) I hear a squeaking noise coming from the engine compartment. Can anyone tell me what this is about? It sounds like you may have a little air in the clutch system. Bleed that and I believe your issue will go away.
I have an old MG midget that does the same thing. I have to bleed that every year or two.

Hard to say on the squeak. Have someone press the clutch in and out while you are under the hood and see if you can figure out where it's coming from.
