2007 Yaris 4 door - Amazing car. Want to keep it going forever. Stumped on a coolant leak and wondering if anyone here has had the same issue?

220k miles - rust belt car. Coolant system all original other then water pumps and fluid.

First hot day in NJ this season and the car stalled at a traffic light. Coolant light flashing and check engine. Was able to get the car restarted and pulled off quickly so that I was not in an accident. Let the car sit in a lot for hours while it cooled off.

It took a gallon of coolant to get it to the top of the fill cap. Car started and made it home 2 miles. Went outside a little after to see where the coolant was leaking from. Found coolant at a constant fast drip coming from a floorboard body hole behind the driver side seat (on the undercarriage). Engine bay is pretty dry although there was some wet spots under the waterpump.

Engine oil checks out clean - no coolant mix.

Is this a heater core? Carpets are dry. No coolant smell inside the car.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I would think heater core. The coolant is probably finding its way under the carpet and collecting in the lowest area
