My state will allow my son to be the front seat passenger as long as he's in a booster. But for safety, I definitely want to disable the air bag. Any suggestions? The light on the dash states that is disabled whenever there is some weight on the seat that is not substantial -but I would much prefer to turn it off manually and not risk yeah weight issue -though my son is definitely under whatever weight it is set at.
I realize it is not ideal to have him in the front seat, but my back seats are permanently folded down so that my Walker fits in the back. I plan to drive him less than one mile.
