Hello!
I have a french built Yaris 1.0 2005.
Problem is the ABS light is on.
When I short pin 4 and 13 as per the troubleshooting guide I get code 3-2 flashing. I also tried clearing the coedes and it comes back right away.
I replaced the left front ABS sensor thinking it would solve the problem, but unfortunently it did not.
So I figured the tone ring might be broken, but then I read the abs do not use standard tone rings, and instead use some magnetic strip inside of the bearing?
Could this magnetic strip be damaged in any way, which would warrant a replacement of the whole bearing?
I have no noises from it and it is working just fine as for the bearing funtion, so I would rather not replace it if possible.
Any other leads which might give code 3-2 except the ABS sensor?
I need to fix the ABS for my car to pass road inspection unfortunently.
