I don't get it. Why does increasing the BTU output of gasoline improve fuel economy? So it burn hotter.... what difference does that make? And wouldn't it make your engine overheat if it burned hotter?

Seems like we go all kind of alt power for our living. It is good, but I will stick with gas cars for another while.

When you increase the BTUs by using this add on gas, you can use less gasoline and still get the same bang in the cylinder.
