...its a good idea...mazda is working on a similar electric motor assisted turbo... a little more sophisticated, but same concept

bmw was working on a steam powered turbo system 2+ years ago... havent heard anything lately

I actually know a guy that did this to a MAzda truck. He was a hill jack so you could figure that one out. I thought he was joking until he popped the hood. He had a way of taking it on and off real fast it was puuuuuure ghetto.
