also it's possible to install without the connectors right? just remove both connectors and connect the wires or get generic molex connectors?

You have to buy 2, as they are the same connector, and they don't come in pairs.

Yes, you can do the connection without the connector, just take the wires out from your current connector, then plug in directly to the light will do.

I would spring for the connectors. These molex pins are much smaller than your typical computer ones... finding generic connectors might be hard.

It just makes installing the taillights much easier... just pop out the wires from the body-side connector and put them in the new connectors, then plug-and-play! It's just the proper way of doing things. :thumbsup:
