I've read other topics in the past about this and all I can gather is to get a Gold Plated Aux cable. I am currently using a 3ft silver plate cable and it just began ringing like heck when waiting for my Ipod to switch songs. If i get a Gold Plated will the ringing totally stop? and also is there a way to somehow reinforce the connection so you know that it's plugged in snug so you really have to yank on it to get it out?
Sorry if I'm reposting something that can be easily accessed by using the "Search" button but i have two questions instead of one.
Thanks

I'm wondering if the problem you describe is similar to the problem I had (and solved) in this thread:

I've got a gold plated wire and it still rings a fair amount.
Noise filter's probably the way to go. Getting one tomorrow.
