I own a 2012 1.4diesel. Failed my country version of the MOT due to a bad inner tie rod.
So i went on a local parts site and ordered both outer and inner, however when i got the parts the inner one is way shorter than the OEM one.
But the parts supplier doesnt supply any other length. However there is another design available for the outer tie rod. The outer one on my car and the ones i ordered are a fairly short straight one. 84mm.

The other design is around twice the length. 173mm.

The old inner rod is somewhere between 350 and 400mm? But the new ones are 255mm. Can order the longer outer tie rod and combine with the 255mm inner?
