it sounds like your putting them in backwards... and if left on to long will cause the LED to burn out...

"Type B Neo - Wedge Instrument Panel Bulbs are 10mm (3/8") diameter x 13mm (1/2") high"

this page http://autolumination.com/74.htm 10th from the bottom

unless i am incorrect in which please correct me

well it depends on what your changing... since you referenced the autolumination.com site i am assuming that you are changing out your temperature controls/fan/shifter light

if your changing your speedo cluster color then thats a completely different story and there are links to the LEDs i used in that thread...

The neo wedge bulbs come with a base.

When you insert the base of the bulb in the AC controls turn it clockwise to lock it with a pen.

If it doesnt light up immediately take it out and turn it around and try again.

If you leave in an LED that is not illuminating it will pull load from elsewhere and start frying things.

The shifter bulb is the TRI POWER bulb. Its not a wedge base. Its a direct plug in type.

Purchase them from autolumination.com. They are VERY reasonable, you can order direct from their website and shipping is VERY quick.

I redid my entire interior and license plate and not one problem.
