i honestly can't tell you which one to get, but if you want to save space, get a 4-channel amp that can power those Type R's. you can probably get more juice with two 2-channel amps tho, but i'm not sure.

here's a 4-channel amp from Alpine to match the Type R's. heh. should be enough to power all four speakers.

quick question Blen, why did you four 6 1/2" speakers? i thought the LB has smaller 5 1/4" speakers in the rear?

but yeah, both the 2-way and the component speakers have an RMS of at least 100W. that amp's RMS is 150W (i think). look around online for the cheapest place for it.

i'm not sure, but it may be possible with some new mounting brackets. otherwise, try to resell the 2-way pair to someone.

Hey Blenjar I was just wondering where you put the sub at? I was thinking of the Basslink with just one sub. Does it take up a lot of space?

Thanks,
MYT

you can fit it either side left or right side of your trunk but hey, the T is better why?

let's just say if you put the 1 in ur trunk...putting it on the side? well the speaker will boom boom on the side.

if u put it facing the rear window, it will boom boom the rear window and head forward to me from the back.
now that u've figured out that its better to have it placed facing the rear window...it will look better wit hthe basslink T wouldn't it? but yea it will eat some space too.

I'll take pictures of my un mounted speakers.

Gotcha, do you mind a quick pic of where you mounted the T as well?

Thanks,

cool, you don't want to max out the power in the speakers anyway (good way to blow them out faster).
