View Full Version : The LCD in my yaris bleeds when hot!!

I took it back to dealer. they will relace it. However I can't get a loaner because Im under 21 and I cant get a rental as well. Im 19 with 3 cars so Im good (they dont know that). well anyway the manager of jay toyota. sd he will buy me some accessories from the parts dept. what should I get that wont be hella expensive? I kinda want that trunk mat and cargo net. i dunno why lol

Whew I thought I was the only one experiencing the dreaded "LCD bleed". I have noticed it twice so far when getting into the car to leave for work. When I left work later at night the bleeding was gone. I feared it had somthing to do with me changing the gauge cluster led's. So what did the dealer say exactly about it?

that they never heard of it and mine is in the shop now to replace. they had to order a new one with the correct milege and ship it with exactly the same milege to keep it accurate

Wow. Well I sure have experienced it too. Im going to talk to my dealer in the morning. So, they said they would buy you some accessories? Was there a price/item range? Was it because the guy you talked to was cool or was it a policy thing?

dont know my range. and i am under 21 with my own place car and bills. i work two jobs and im in school.. my dash messes up and i have to put it in the shop for 4 days and they cant give me a loaner or rental because im under 21. so he is giving me accessories to make up for it since he cant reimburse me any other way
