I got my AS degree from CHI in "Computer Networking" I currently work at Comcast Corporate Headquarters as a Software Analyst... I build parameters and maintain the Amdocs, CSG, and Icoms billing Software...

Pay is not great but I get Free Cable, Internet, and $15 Home Phone service, not to mention Discounts at almost every business under the sun. Also I get discount tickets to concerts, and sporting events in Philly!

I am currently back in school to get my BS in Business Management!

If you give me your Zip Code I can search the Internal Website for IT jobs in your area...

Im the IT Director for a 200 people company. We have our own internal IT and security departments, which I head.

It's great fun... sometimes it's stressful, but most of the time there's enough freedom to browse and chat on forums.

i'm a dialer administrator for a collections shop. i maintain 5 servers and make sure our collectors keep getting phone calls, both inbound and outbound.

i love my job. i freakin LOVE it. i work about 5 hours a day. sometimes i have to work in the mid morning hours to make changes to the dialer but i'd take that any day over having to work 8-5 every day.

did i mention i love my job? :)

I work as CCVP controlling 120+ IP Telephony sites nationwide as well as CCNP/CWNA work for those same sites. It is a government gig...I love it. I have a few staff having to provide support to the many...makes me feel a like like I did when I was active duty in the Armed Forces. We have entry level positions open every few months however they are located in Maine. Peace.

Web programming... LAMP + ASP.NET 2.0. I've got some ideas on how I could put that knowledge to use.

run a website hosting company. do a bit of everything. no real job openings unless you are willing to join my staff of 6 linux zombies paid next to nothing for doing a thankless job? hehehe.

Honestly, my staff are awesome and we have a very stable hosting platform. It's a pretty good gig overall, but sometimes we get crazy when a client will order 12 servers at once or something.

Im a network administrator for a small consulting company. we are responsable for over 45 servers and have probably about 15 clients ranging from 15 ppl to over 100. I like it, ive been at the same place for 12 years almost, if you count the time I was working there part time in HS and college. it pays decent, I cant compain too much as I only have an AS. degree. sometimes its annoying dealing with my boss and custimers, but most of the time its fine. its good and bad working for a small company, I cant just slack off as I have to report directly to the owner, but then again he lets me leave earlie and we usually go out to lunch once a week. hes going to be out the first half of this week, so it should be more relaxing, hopefully... sometimes its harder since I have to field all the calls and get stuff done too.
my only complaint is that since we work based on hours, I have to record ALL my time.... if im goofing off for like 10 minutes its kind of obvious when I have to record my time, unless I just lump it under what I was just doing.. which I sometimes do, hehe!

hehe I work at an IT Conusulting company now and my major was Psychology. The company I work for is pretty small and I'm hired as a contractor and not an employee (So when tax season comes, it's going to suck). But anyway, right now I work with websites and mostly i do sharepoint work. I'm now microsoft certified with sharepoint but that wasn't hard to get. I hate my job because the pay is meh for what I do and my boss is kind of a jerk. He likes to get into people's personal lives and tell us what to do.. so umm yeah, I wouldn't recommend you to come to us 'cuz you'll be quitting pretty soon lol. Good luck to you.
