hi everyone. I (well my dad has, I might get it as my first car :) own/s a yaris YRX silver 4 door hatch in auto. I have a few questions but there probably based on what people prefer:
1: Manual or auto? (how much is a conversion)
2: 2 door scissors or 4 door with rear suicide?
3: sedan or hatch?
Im thinking of trading it in to get a 3 door YRX with the safety pack and 1.5L. in red and manual.
And this is over the top, but if i ever get the money, put a bike engine or two (possibly kawasaki or something top of the line) and a 4wd system off a rav4, or rear mount in the boot a skyline r32/33 engine (RWD, make the old engine bay the boot) and mod it like ppl do to get 700bhp+ or so.:burnrubber:
EDIT: or even better like the renault van with the F1 engine. wrap yourself round a tree pretty easily with that...

well, that's some pretty big plans
To answer your questions, manual vs auto is basically fun vs convenience. If you like driving a manual and don't mind it in traffic, then get it. Otherwise, the auto transmission is by no means bad, just not quite as involving
Suicide doors on a 4 or 5 door version would be pretty cool...
Sedan vs hatch is a matter of taste... Looks wise, the sedan blends in, the hatch stands out... Practically speaking, the sedan is great if you often carry 3 or 4 people AND luggage. If it's more of a personal car, then I'd say hatch, but maybe I'm biased
RWD conversion would definitely be something awesome, I may end up doing that at some point

These are the models in Aus, all have tachometers
•3dr/5dr YR Hatch
•3dr/5dr YRS Hatch
•3dr/5dr YRX Hatch
•2dr/4dr YRS Sedan
•2dr/4dr YRX Sedan
Anyway, I'm also looking into the YRX, it's a pretty sweet ride.

I've been making a list of mods to do, its not finished, and there are duplicates but of different types/brands (muffler, armrest and facia). I did a screenshot and its attached.
but the main thing to check out is the body kit from ssv.com.au

both cars are small and have the egg shape styling, but they would be easy to tell apart. and ive had a sudden change of heart for the liking of the front bumper. i hope the fog lights fit(no pun intended) in it....

Wow, that's, well, umm...not so good looking...
It looks like a fit crossbred with a hand held vacuum, ala the dust devel...
I would like a better look at the midwing tho
