Hey all, so my boyfriend works for Best Buy and he can get me the Viper alarm system that has remote start that is retailing at $500 for about $177. But that price does not include basic install. To have Best Buy install it, that would be another $160 or so. Question is is there some way for me or him to install it by ourselves? Is it complicated or what?? Just wondering so I'll know if I should blow the $160 on installation or just have him do it.

If he works for Best Buy, can he ask one of the installers how to do it? or do they not like to share that info

go to an audio shop, much cleaner than the best buy/circuit city losers that f%ck up your car.

Yeah I'll have him ask about it. By the way, I have never had the need to install an alarm system/keyless entry since I always had vehicles equipped with those features. Is Viper a good brand? Sorry for the n00b question

most of the alarms are made by directed, it really doesnt matter, just depends on how much you wanna pay for features, i got an avital 4400 2 way pager system and it was hooked up to my mes central door lock and i paid 350 with install
