Its the only way to end the book. theres no way he can live past Voldemort; one makes the other. Potter can't go on living with his life and not have book after book about it written.

sorry thats what i'm expecting will happen in a couple of weeks when i get the "last" HP book.

well its supposed to be the last book of the the whole story. so there should be no more books/movies after this one.

thats why i said he has to die in order to stop the chances of a endless line of books.

Ha! She may kill off Harry, but she won't kill off everyone! That means at some point, someone can revisit the Harry Potter world with a spin off series, possibly following the adventures of Ron and Hermione. Or Nevel. Or any one of the other supporting characters.

BTW, Dumbledore isn't dead. He faked it. When his body was burned, Harry thought he saw a phoenix flying through the smoke high above. Dumbledore is another unregistered animagus (honestly, would you be surprised?), and was making his escape. The whole thing with Snape was a scam.

It also could have been fawlkes saving him, like how he escaped in the 5th book/movie...

I do think it would be a good twist if its Nevel whos the actual hero. They skipped it in the movie, but the prophesy could be about Nevel and not Harry at all.

i think Dumbledore is dead, i highly doubt he would come back in any form other than spiritual. as of Nevel being the main character, i don't know, it would be a complete shocker but who knows what coould happen.

i just cant wait to get my hands on the final book.:thumbup:

i was told the movies was not that good. but i'll watch it just because is a Potter movie. i'll probably rent it once it comes out on dvd or i'll watch it at the 3$ movies.

It would be cool if Snape turns out to be good after all. like if he was actually order by Dumbledore to kill him, because he was gonna die anyways. and then at the final battle between Harry and Lord V, Snapes takes the hit that will kill harry, giving harry the chance to kill V.
