Rides a little rougher than stock, but not bad.

Nice clean look, but that gap is sure noticeable now with those 17x7.5's! Hope you plan to lower it.

Your car looks sexy, but every reply you get is probably going to include either the words "lower," "drop," "springs," etc.

Has anyone had any luck with spring clamps? I work with a guy that used them on his older supra and it seemed to lower the car effectively. Not sure if I want to modify the car that permanently with springs. With the clamps you could take them off, put the stock rims back on and not scare buyers away when I sell it. From past experience, I know that lowering a car doesn't help the resale value.

Very nice, SO shiny
Just wondering, why does it ride rougher now?

Less tire to absorb the bumps. Generally speaking the taller the tire the smoother the ride.

I see what you mean, I experienced this with new wheels/tires too, can feel every bump and pebble now--THANK GOD! Those stock tires sucked, had 0 grip, just about no road feel at all.

depends on who you are selling it to I suppose
get yourself some TRD if you are worried:redface:

Absolutely true!
For resale, a lowered car will attract an extremely narrow market.
... so too will radical looking wheels and numerous other mods.
My advice is to keep the original stuff and reinstall it for resale. Then, sell your mods on this website, or ebay, or Craigslist.

Nice wheels. Now you need to slam it =)
That is a nice looking car
Nice looking car + dropped + window tinted = super nice looking car
Lookin' good !!! I opted for TRD Springs for my sedan. It dropped the car by about 1.5". Didn't affect the ride at all. Clamped springs = rough ride. :smoking:

something went haywire with the quotes, I was quoting someone else that said lowering ruins resale, just to clarify
and I was saying go with TRD like many do which is a stock part, like pepe did
I could give two shits about resale, I plan on driving the shit out of mine:wink:
