well I got fired today from my job....told I was "stealing from the company" not physically but time-wise...it's a long story and I'll post if interest but my real reason for this thread is to see if anyone knows any one hiring auto mechanics/technicians a.s.a.p. I've got resources and I'm hoping this can be one of them...thanks guys and gals....

oh and BTW because of this my wife and I may not be coming to the meet.....:(

Sorry to hear that. I used to live in Orlando up until a few months ago, so I can't be of much help in the work department nowadays.

Does "time-wise" mean that you were leaving early? And if so, how early are we talking about here? Sounds a bit too harsh a punishment to me.

Anyway. good luck finding a new job. I hope someone helps you out with this soon.

Sorry to hear about your job. I was just caught up in a RIF--closing our whole department. Found another job so I resigned yesterday. Got 10 days until new job starts, feels like heaven! I hated that place!

This sucks. Could have had 5 Yaris at the meet. Good luck on the job hunt in Orlando.

Economically Orlando ranks near the top/at the top on loads of national economic rankings. Its partly why I moved here...that and the palm trees.

I don't know much about the business, but a good friend is a Dodge tech and the local dealers in my area are always trying to snag each others people. Where you with a dealership, or general shop?

well I possibly have a job now. hehe @ Toyota. just go for the drug testing and do all the preliminary paperwork, and I will be starting as a lube tech. hopefully 40+ hours and good pay through the flat rate system......who knows.....I may end up being the minor hookup guy.

See, when God closes a door he opens a hatchback. *hilarity ensues!* (Sorry, couldn't resist.)

Congratu-frakin'-lations! Working for Toyota can't be all that bad. Just make good use of your time.
