I just ordered the shift knob from trdsparks for the LB.. and when I put it on there is a good 1/2 inch between where the boot ends and the new knob begins. anyone else have this issue?? I saw some pics of other people who have this knob and it looked flush to me. :iono:

on the box it says 'Autobahn Kraftwerks - speed star shift knob'

That's the one i got and it's flush flush flush. I don't know why yours isn't. I got mine from the Yaris Accessories booklet. I'm sure it's the same though. Try cleaning out the threads, maybe it's stuck on something.

Here's my pics...you can see it's flush and all I did was screw it on. Good luck!! :)

Alpha,

That knob is actually for the Scion line of cars.
It will fit the Toyota, as I have one as well, but it will not flush properly with the existing rubber boot.

I changed mine to the leather boot and it looks like this now:

To each his own, but I think the leather boot is much better than the ribbed rubber!

I dont like the rubber either, just didnt want to spend $60 on a boot, although they look like they are worth it, quality wise.
