Has anyone installed 4 racing seats in a yaris hatch like removing rear bench and just place 2 stationary buckets will it fit look good or not

I personally don't think that would look good. I think the rally-style look is better with just two seats in the front and the back seat taken out. But, YMMV.

I think it could work. You'd have to go pretty custom on the mounts though, the bench seat is mounted quite differently than bucket seats.

I think it would look and function quite nice. I've thought about doing it myself...

I'm thinking about doing the same thing and trim the whole interior so it's ganna be a rally-style show car

not sure yet, but I think it's a great idea

I don't think the floor is flat back there? Doesn't the frame change shape for the back seats?

I always had the crazy idea of turning the liftback into a three seater and installing a third seat in the center of the rear. How fun would it be to be the guy in the back with the perfect view of the center of the car? :headbang:

hahah I was thinking of the other way around, mclaren F1 style, driver in the middle. After all, we already have the speedometer there, right?

hrm, well, i personally dont think racing seats would look good in the back cause they would sit up too high, you have to remember the floor is higher where the rear bench seat is.

While I wouldn't ever put racing seats in the back, I would go to a junk yard and get the rear seat out of a 95ish camero/firebird or integra, those have 2 seats in the back, and are around the same size as a bench in the back of a yaris...would need a fair amount of work to get them to fit in there and look nice, but I think the stock looking 2+2 look would be nice.

course, I like subtle and clean...others may not share my taste.

i like that idea i may look into that i was really just trying to get some ideas do you have any thoughts about matching front seats to match like the rear camaro seats i like the fact that they are really deep buckets.
