17X7 wheels

:help: ok I'm confused, i am looking at a set of Urban Racing 17X7 Type 8 wheels, with 205-40-17 tires, will this fit my LB without rubbing?
can anyone help me with this?:thumbup:

Yup, that's what I have. Just sure the bolt pattern is 4x100 and the offset is anywhere from 38mm to 45mm (40-42mm is best).

I think it will not rub.. do not more than +38 offset

as peter said 40-42 is the best +45 in the front and +38 in the back would be pretty phat with 205/40's all the way around

Depending on the tire, ET38 may poke out a bit up front, ET40-42 would be much better, and ET45 would give you a tiny tuck up front which usually looks best and eliminates most rubbing problems.

If you're not lowered, go with 205/45's. If you're lowered, you may want to go with 205/40's, especially if you run ET38's.

However, you could manage 205/45's if you're lowered and you have chosen the proper offset.

ia am looking at the +40 as an offset, as i have no plans on lowering the car from stock,
PetersRedYaris can you post some pictures of you tires so i can see how they fit? what offset do you have?

I have Tanabe NF210 springs for a drop of 1.1 in the front and 1.3 in the rear. My tires are 205/40/17 and wheels are 17x7 with 38mm offset. Remember, the lower the offset, the furthur OUT it places your wheels. So, I am as wide as is recommended (as seen in the close-up of the front wheel). I have never rubbed, probably due to the slightly smaller tire diameter.

That's quite the lunch box you have there up on your roof.
How's the ride with that thing? I'm assuming there is wind noise but any vibrations or the like?
