actually that one's a step int he right direction, as the O2 sensor is one of the main contributor to the ECU's air/fuel ratio. But as for that simple thing adding horsepower, it won't. But it's worth looking into in association with a light turbo or supercharger...

I saw those paddle shifters yesterday - thats another ridiculous piece right there, something else to add to your car that doesnt function and makes it look like its something its not...If i got into one of my friends cars and so those and then realized they werent functional - i'd slap him in the face, not with my hand mind you - with a board or something similar..

I personally think the fake paddle shifters could work for mounting some controls for my (future) carPC, so I don't think it's a huge waste IMO.

I contacted the seller for this item and he told me that there shouldn't be any problems with our Yaris ECU. He didn't really seem too sure of it, however. Also, the OBDII cable required for a PC connection can be found on eBay as well:

Thats a reader only - don't we need a usb connector to a pc/laptop to the yaris connector (I can see the connector under our dash) so that we can modify the settings on the ECU ie. remove the speed limiter etc using that software?

I couldn't find any for Toyota - nearest I could find was this for Audi but I don't think that is the right connection to our car??:

Q: Do you have a holographic version so that if someone looks from a certain angle, the sunroof will look like it's open? Well...No one knows exactly if its direct plug and play. Nobody has confirmed that it works, it could be very possible that the ECU on a USDM Yaris might not be able to output the signals required or the Aussy Gauges. Just cause the plugs are similar/same doesnt mean it works.

Yes I do understand that your guy's cars come both ways with the Analog and digi read outs. Has anyone over there done a digital to analog or vice versa swap already?

Not that i'm aware of. The Hatch over has the digital cluster and the sedan has the analog cluster. Plug and Play could be Plug and Pray. I don't see why it would not work as the plugs look the same to me.

When I first checked out the listing the back side of the light hadn't been shown however it is there now.

They are asking roughly 500 US dollars which is pretty steep however with how they are designed and if they have good quality components then they might be worth it.
