Apparently so according to these guys!

Hmmm....

I guess I get how the pulse plug stores energy during the ionization phase rather than dispersing it as heat, but I don't get how that produces higher pressure in the cylinder

I've been googling around for information on those plugs, but have not found any significant proof that these plugs do what they claim to do.

me neither. but... sounds interesting. Too bad I have no access to a dyno, would be a cool test...

my guess is that they dont do much. if they did, then dont you think this would be big news and everyone would want some?

I agree . . .

well, this is my take on it. hotter more precise spark equals more horsepower...in a stock 4cyl car with under 150hp, you could change plugs wires and coils and you may not even have measurable wheel hp gains on a dyno.
however, more powerfull and consistent spark will compliment other modifications and increase their potency.
p.s. I dont know that I would trust this myself, especially on newer cars as their ignition systems are alot more picky. basically this product is a capacitor strapped to a sparkplug, it stores electricity and dumps it...they claim that the dump happens in a billionth of a second, i would like to see someone with a engineering degree pull one of these plugs apart and test a few before i would toss them in my brand new car.

Yah, I would like to see some one besides the manufacturer make some claims on them. But hey, just saw the site and thought I'd post it up on here :)
