I was surfing the German site for Toyota and came across an interior photo of a digital display on the 'executive 1.3 VVTi' - are there any suppliers in North American dealing in such accessories?

It's not really an "upgrade"... pretty much the muchness. I've got a digital dash and an analogue one would be about the same though getting a engine speed reading is easier but road speed a bit worse (IMHO)... digital is the other way around.

I'd just love to see someone make an instrument cluster relocation kit. the middle of the dash thing is really annoying. Or maybe a heads up display so you dont have to move your eyes right to see the gauges

The display itself is much better than conventional ones. You eyes do not have to focus as hard going from the centre dial to looking outside. Do the experiment at the traffic lights. See how long it takes to focus from the driver's side console lid to the outside. Repeat for the centre "dials". I actually hate driving a conventional dialed car. Feels weird.

Btw, TRD do have a dial kit that goes over the lid if you REALLY want the tachometer and other dials on top of the driver's side console lid.

I haven't quite ordered my Yaris yet, but I am in the process of it. I test drove the lift back yesterday, and the only thing I did not like was the cheezy looking LCD in the console <See attached image>. Is there a replacement for that, or a complete digital replacement for the whole center console?

I have been looking, but thus far have not found anything....I can show you a pic of my dash, even tho it is not too up close...

I actually like the instruments the ways they are in the US model....
