Ebay vs. jimcat fog lights

Hey, ive read alot baout jimcats fog lights but haven't seen anything from those who bought on ebay and installed. Anyone offer any comparisons? Whats jimcats edge?
Since I have the power package are they easier to install?

A funny thing happen concerning about these foglights.

I bought some ebay foglights because they were cheaper then what Jimcat quoted me on here. The funny thing is after I received the foglights it was from Jimcat.

So to answer your question Jimcats edge is covering the field well! :smile:
Having the power package doesn't really make a difference, depends on where you're going to hook the wires.

Jim has the factory switch, for the factory void location in the center console. The eBay kit, which I just got from a member here, is a cheap looking big honkin' switch. :thumbdown:

I noticed the ebay kits vary quite a bit depending on the seller. My ebay kit has the factory switch and I have no complaints or problems with mine. In fact the bulbs they came with are bright, evenly lit, AND still working. I figured I would have to replace them but have not yet had to.

i believe jimcat is better, i got my fog lights when they first came out from procarparts. There a very good company, service was fast and it came with the stock switch like jimcat. The only thing that suck was in the winter my lens cracked cuz of the cold weather, i email procarparts about a lens replacement and they couldn't do it i would have to buy a whole new set. So i just glued the crack until i had enough money to get another set. About 2 months ago the glue gave way and completely shatters while on the highway thanks to a semi truck throwing pebbles from it tires. anyways i email jimcat and he was able to get replacement lens for me at a good price. So far he's the only person that does that. I sure none of the other companies on ebay well get replacement parts for you. that just my opinion. Still working on replacing the lens it a perfect fit, it just how to get it apart.

I got mine from imcat very good product the only thing is that the switch he sent was to big for the factory knock out

No problems from Jimcat's set. Factory style and sized switch. Plus his price was better than most on Ebay.
