Man, just finished the audio book of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows", and it was great! Lots of kick-ass wizardin'. Jim Dale (the reader) rocks.

Sad to see such an engaging series over and done with, though. At least I have the movies to look forward to, and the theme park. My wife and I plan on relocating once it opens. :laugh:

Yup, me too. I had it figured out a bit beforehand, but apparently I'm slow. My wife's coworker already has correct suspicions, and she's maybe halfway through.

I wonder, once you get into it, is the book a bit predictable this time? I'm almost always caught off guard, but this one didn't surprise me the way I expected, and my wife felt it was a bit too predictable as well.

I knew at the ending of the last book. I just *knew*. Now I can swoon and not feel guilty about it.

I read an interview with Rowling in the paper where she stated that because the world she created is so large and complex, she could go back and pick it up later, though she doesn't foresee that happening. Who knows, though, maybe she'll get bored 10 years from now, or a really awesome idea will pop into her head, and we'll all be off and running again!

That would be cool. I think I'd like to follow a whole different batch of people, though, maybe a different location.

the book was really boring in the middle of the "quest". the ending was ok, it cool had been better. she left a lot of unanswered questions, like what happened to the Dudleys, X. Lovegood, the Malfoys and some other ones...

The match between Voldermort and Harry was too quick and just not good. i feel like it could had been a lot better!!!
