looks good :w00t: - what sort of paint did you use? won't the high heat from the exhaust would kill the paint off very quickly?

Thanks for the feedback guys.... for the exhaust i used the "high heat 500 + degrees" paint thats used for engines.

It does look good, but dont get angry when it starts to flake off the exhaust, youll probably have to keep repainting it every couple months or so.

dont think that his exhaust is gonna flake from the paint he used...

though if it does start flakin i suggest u powder coat it...its only a small item so it will be VERY cheap.....

once i get my replacement chrome handles im gonna powder coat them gloss white and the guy said to me it will only cost me $10-15AUD to get them done!! cheap as....

It won't. Read my reply above. All mine look as good as the day I did them...

I was debating on doing my exhaust black as well, then I decided I need to have a wee bit of chrome...... exhaust tips and front and rear badges

well that is what I was going to do in the first place..... I did black out the Toyota badges, then I got the Netz badges.... so I wanted to show them off

and now that my exhaust is nice and tucked under my car the few specks of chrome are nice when she is all shined up

Black Yaris, this may sound a bit weird, but how about red-painted badges for both purposes of contrast and chrome removal?

Um.... no, red, not my color.... blue is going to be my accent color, I am starting under hood and working my way out.... eventaully will have a custom paint scheme with blazing blue and black sand pearl.... 1) to cover up all the nicks in the paing and 2)for fun... but I am going to wait till the pain gets realy bad so I can justify it to the wife.... plus I have have not figured out how I am going to 2 tone it yet

I am not a fan of it either, but you have to have a couple small touches of it here and there on a alll black car.... chrome lug nuts, chrome front and rear badges and chrome exhaust tips (ya'll have not seen the new ones yet)..... very very little chrome

I have high polished wheels they are NOT chrome.

I would love to paint the interior of my headlights white, smoke the plastic piece, smoke the side turn signal and rear tails and color match the front and rear emblem but I don't have the balls.
