Hi guys,
I am in the United States and I am wondering what are the implications of purchasing a car from a Canadian dealership .... for instance if I want to purchase the 5 door liftback that is not available her in the US. Is it that you lose warranty or probs with insurance?
Thanks
RH

There was a news story this morning from cross canada about car prices in both the US and Canada. I guess car prices in Canada are 17% higer than the equivalent vehicle in the US. Thats a lot of money plus all the other fees extra for two more doors.

Thanks. I didn't see that thread before. It really sucks. I would really like the 5 door:frown: . So close yet so far.

Tell me about it. I live 2 min from the border. Checked one out in October, when they hit the dealer, and it only made it worse. I keep checking Autotrader.ca for used ones, but they are still too expensive.

yeah, but isn't the Canadian dollar only worth about 80% US Dollar, anyway :laughabove: so don't you kinda break even :smoking:
