Frankly, how automatic transmission work, I have absolutely no idea. All i know is there is a torque convertor, whereby clutch engagement is through the viscous oil in there.

I was thinking, will increasing the thickness of the oil help engage the clutch harder thereby helping out with initial acceleration ? It it does help shave 0.5 sec off my century sprint, I'll go for it.

I was going to suggest full synthetic trans oil as well, it will lubercate better, therefor more effeicent shifting=better tracktimes

yeah in theory a thicker torque converter liquid will gove a more direct feel, but also make the shifting somewhat less smooth for daily driving... There's always a tradeoff somewhere
