OK, haha so I had to let out my excitement and worries as I closed on my first house this past monday. It is a townhome but still has two floors and a basement and it's an end unit. Anywho, so now I've got even more responsibilities and doing adult-like things. um, yeah. Just wanted to share and I'm probably not going to be on at all this weekend cuz I'm moving in then. Wish me luck!

Congratulations on your first house… I remember when I bought my first one, It was over 3 years ago… Now I own 3 houses and I am negotiating the building of another house in Italy!

I am living with my parents now but I cannot take it anymore. Mom uses my phone all the time and my dad gives me lectures all the time too.. mostly because he doesn't like my boyfriend. And he has only met him once.

I can't see myself buying a house. I don't want to be tied down to one city for very long. I am 28 and have lived in New Orleans, Houston, Jackson, Tulsa and now Dallas. I'm thinking L.A. will be next. My sister is there. And then probably New York. Get me outta the south, please.

After a lifetime in apartments I finally ought a house 4 years ago. Owning is an experience--no more calling the landlord when the toilet explodes! :laugh:--but I think worth it.

the townhome doesn't have a garage. just parkin lot haha. some other townhomes in the neighborhood have garages but don't think they were for sale. I have a balcony and a patio too. I'll post pics after I move in :tongue: there is a fountain/lake near by hehe. and it's got a finished basement.. ok yup pics will be up later thanks to everyone who said congrats

SB good luck! Being an adult means that you don't GAF what other simple folks care about. What is important is that you are doing what is right and proud of yourself. I am in my 3rd custom home and most likely will end up in a condo when I am too old to get it up. hahaha you guys crack me up. I have missed yaris world this weekend. Been nothing but moving and unpackin. I didn't do as much moving.. bf did most of the work but at least i did a lot of the unpacking :tongue: Will take pics once there are boxes off the floor. The living room is so empty right now cuz we only have an elliptical in there and nothing else! maybe i can squeeze my yaris through JK!
