I was watching this last night with the gf. After landing a 720 to McTwist over a 70 foot gap (INSANE!!) he attempted another stunt. He didn't make it. When this happened I was seriously crying. I thought Jake had died. The impact sent one of his shoes flying off of his feet. He laid there for about 8 minutes unconscious with his eyes open. Then dude WALKED OFF of the ramp (with a little help). Many news stories are reporting that this is the worse fall in skateboarding history (that we know of).

There is another vid of this on MSN video that shows a couple of different angles. You know you hit hard when it knocks your shoes off! I still grince when I see it. Damn lucky to walk away!

he almost looked like he went weightless for a moment....floated in the air and came down like a feather really....he hit hard, but at least it was on or near the angle coming down right? I could only watch once cause of a lightening storm...

Saw the clip on the news yesterday morning. I actually yelled out when I saw it.... holy CRAP that had to hurt like a mofo. Those guys are crazy!
