I can't wait to see it, big fan of the original books, big fan of the first two movies, even though they ended up quite a bit different from the books, they are still great entertainment... And the chase in the Mini in Paris in Identity? Did they manage to beat that in Ultimatum?

first one was ridiculously good, but the second one, in my opinion, sucked donkey balls. they changed directors from the first to second, and it showed in the cinematography BIG time. the action scenes in part 1 were crisp and shot from a distance where you could see every minute detail. the 2nd one's action scenes were shot as if you were actually right there in the scuffle...all close and too damn shaky. i could barely tell whether they were going hand to hand or using weapons. its a shame, since the plot and acting in the 2nd one was good. so i guess my question for those who saw the 3rd one is whether the cinematography was similar to the 2nd movie, where it looked like some dude with a cameraphone was following the actors, kinda like the blair witch project?? cuz if it is, i doubt me and the wifey will see it... which sucks since part 1 is one of our favorite all-time movies!

Do they still hyperedit the action parts that put me in a seizure for the first 2?

freeking sucks. guess im saving my money for a movie where the director actually paid for real movie equipment. someone should really let this guy know how to zoom out and about the wonderful invention called image stabilization. thanks for the replies guys and gals!

Glad to see somebody else thought the camera work was dizzing. The action scenes were driving me crazy and to me looked amatuerish. I made that comment to the guys that went to see it with me and they said they didn't notice.

At least I don't feel crazy anymore.

overall, the 3rd is my fave..

the studio are talking James Bond kinda thing for future Bourne movie.
i think it's cool as long as they keep doing the unthinkable scene or the unpredictable story ending..

Just came back from the cinema, I think the best word for this movie is: intense.

It's hard to beat the Mini in Paris chase sequence from part 1, but this one's got a very hard hitting chase, literally...

Yeah, the camera work is unsteady and sometimes confusing, but I guess that's supposed to make you feel more immersed in the action or something like that...

I like how they say at the end "based on the book by Robert Ludlum"... I think the only thing in common betwen the book and the movie is the title
