Got my shipment from Thomas, woo hoo!

Here's a few quick pics of the taillights, way better than the USDM stock lights, I think. I will post up the wiring scheme later.

yeah that muffler was pretty haggard, but it is soooo long gone.... she looks much better now though, $350 worth of exhaust later... and much better sounding

the jmags are polished not chrome!:wink:

They do kinda look a little different (darker) from mine.

Not a huge difference, but the interior of the replica ones is all shiny, white the originals are more matte.

Thanks for posting all the pics everyone, I think that was helpful for anyone interested in these tails. Mine do look darker than the real ones, but I was going to smoke them and now I don't have to.

If two of the wrong wires touch, you're going to blow fuses. I'd get the connectors.

i always thought changing tail lights was just a simple plug/unplug kinda thing...i guess it varies with cars

gm830, it normally is because the harness from the car matches the harness from the light assembly.

In this case, the assemblies are coming from overseas, so there is not a match -- and so there's a challenge with connecting the wires properly.

I actually smoked my Modellistas today but was unhappy with the result, so I stripped it off and I'm going to try again tomorrow. I'll post pictures of that once it is done. For the record, it looked SICK!

I'm also debating on smoking the tail lights - can you post a night pic... I painted all the chrome black including the emblems so I think it will look better smoking the tail lights..

I also bought the spiderlight x2 led tail lights since they say it's 3X's brighter but a night pic would be cool...

hey brick, it's a bulb, not LED - I got it at Pep Boys! In real life it's more blue than that, doesn't really light up the road at all, more for show.
