Nixed that GTI on raw time... sweeet. PAX wins are cool, but it's always fun to look down the list and see all the cars you beat straight up :)

Oh, hey; you're up in Bean-town? I'm from the Cape! Where did they hold the event? I was just home and would have liked to have seen it. Do they still Rallys at Otis AFB?

I couldn't figure out how you came in second if you are both STS and it shows your fastest RAW time to be quiker than his, but on the other list it shows him logging a 72.523 time that wasn't on the FINALS list... strange...
Anyway, PAX is basically a handicap system. They take the fastest times from Nationals for each class and give each class it's handicap from that for the next year. Theoretically it says what a top-level driver could do with a car of that class that was prepared to the limit of that class.
Essentially even if a FP car beats you by 5 seconds, once you factor in the advantage the car gives (PAX), you may end up being ranked above them.... basically saying your the better driver.
I'm sure someone around here can answer this clearer (and more accuratly) than me.
Anyways, good job bro.

Always good to hear that the Yaris owns a few cars on the track.

Congratulations on your time, and no cones!

That was a nice long course, the ones in my local club are well under a minute. Also, here they only give PAX numbers for people running in the pro classes...guess it depends on the club.
