:barf:, we went to the beach last thursday and friday, and the weather was not quite good, btw, i'm living ing middle east now...so, there was sandstorm, i was running at 100km/h to 120 km/h...and now my bumper, looks like not shiny at all, my fog lights was not clear anymore, and my windshield looks dirty now because of those tiny sand marks all over the windshield....is there anyway that my yaris will look good as before...can the wind shield be polished to make it clear??? how about my front bumper will polishing do to make it shiny again without repainting it?

It depends just how bad it is. there are a few things for glass and plastic but thats if it isn't too bad. As far as the paint, it sounds like the clearcoat is gone. which if that's the case nothing can help that but repainting. put up some pics and we can better help you. :)

Any insurance????? If not, for the windshield there are polish kits out there that require a buffer and use very fine grit polish (diamond??)....never done it and it would be a lot of work and never be as good as a replacement. The body will cost a lot more! Been in a couple sandstorms (one where you couldn't see 10 feet and it was almost like night)....can't imagine driving 50-60 mph in one. Probably how the first sandblaster was invented....'cept he made money from it.
