TRD STRUT BAR..... IM PISSED !!

so i finally was able to order the trd bar to complete my suspension and found out that its on a stopsale from toyota. after calling parts assist i was able to find out that due to fitting issues(XD) TRD put a temporary hold on all sales of the bar. i was told to check back in 45 days for more info. i did find out that sparks has 2 left .......

I was going to buy one in July (5th of July to be exact) and the company that I was buying them from said the same thing (I thought they were just not able to get them so they were bs'ing me but I'm still waiting - but I'm actually thinking of just buying a tanabe strut bar...

I'm supposed to have four Tanabe strut bars on the next container coming in, mid September. There are a limited number on that shipment, so some vendors may get them and some may not. Maybe I can treat the Tanabe sales manager to dinner before that... :wink:

The next shipment after that is October... boo.

Tanabe are back ordered. I will begin selling DC Sports the minute they are available in about 4-6 weeks and they have a front and rear bar that will be available. What is nice about DC Sports are they are a dual design bar and not a single bar like Tanabe

Check this out. OMP!! Looks just like the TRD but with preload. Tanabe is still the best deal though, in my opinion.

I gave Tanabe a call and the are backorderd. But they are getting a new shipment of product in 2 weeks. They said that more than half of the shipment will be fulfilling prexisting backorders so they will be getting some but just not as much as ususal. So if you want one, place your order asap. I just placed mine with Options Auto Salon.
